About Sarah

I’m a Chicago-based theater maker. Chicago credits include SOUTHERN GOTHIC (Windy City Playhouse), THE UPSTAIRS CONCIERGE (Goodman Theatre, u/s); A VERY MERRY MADRIGAL (Theo Ubique); SLEEPING BEAUTY and GODSPELL (Provision); HAMLET IS DEAD. NO GRAVITY and A HEDDA GABLER (Red Tape); and DEATH AND HARRY HOUDINI (House Theatre, u/s). Regional credits include: THE DOS AND DON’TS OF TIME TRAVEL (Phoenix Theatre). I’m also an educator and director and teach sophomore and junior acting at the Chicago Academy for the Arts.

My hobbies and other areas of expertise are piano playing, oboe playing, scuba diving, aquarium keeping, snow skiing, and kitten fostering.

Education: Master's Degree in the Humanities (University of Chicago), Bachelor's Degree in English Literature, minor in Philosophy (DePauw University).
